What is included as standard when ordering a Mobile Light Box?
You will get the whole frame, this includes Standard Feet, LED Light Modules, Necessary Cables, Transformer and Plug. All packed in a Canvas bag with a hard foam inlay, this bag has 2 double wheels. This Wheely Bag is packed in a Export corrugated cardboard box for shipping.
What is included as standard when ordering a Mobile Light Box including banners?

What if I want to place my frame against the wall?
You need one Half Foot Right and one Half Foot Left to make sure to place your Mobile Light Box against the wall. For the banner you can choose to use a block out back banner or another print to be able to change the front (the quickest way would be to place the frame on the floor and turn around the feet and the frame.)
Can I rent a Mobile Light Box?

What should I do if the lights are not working?
If the lights are not working, it is usually because an plug is not connected properly. Therefore, check the entire frame and make sure everything is connected as it should. If the problem persists, please contact us via phone +31 6 20 72 72 56 or e-mail info@mobilelightbox.eu
What should I do if the lights are blinking?
First remove the white cable from the black power supply. Then put them together again. Are the lights still blinking, check if you are using the correct power supply. If you have lost yours, you can buy one at the Spare Parts section.
The size of frame I want is not on the list, what now?
We have a solution for you: Matrix Frame. We have different sizes of profile.
You can use it on the wall, ceiling, hanging or freestanding. With or without LED lights.
So with our bespoke frames almost everything is possible.

When will there be new stock?

Can I get a different color frame?
The standard is silver. But sure, we can arrange almost everything,
but it will be an extra charge.
Is it possible to use my 300 cm frame as 200 cm frame?
If you have support bars with a glued cross, than no. You are able to order a new support bar set and then leave out the middle sections.
Battery Powered Frames
What should I do if the Battery foot is not charging?
Please check if all cables are plugged in correctly. Then check if you have the correct charger. On the back of the charger, you should find 25.2V. If you lost yours, you could buy one at the Spare Parts section.
How long does my battery foot last?
That depends on the width of the frame:
50 cm – 11 hours
85 cm – 11 hours
100 cm – 12 hours
100 cm Counter – 24 hours
How long does my battery foot will take to charge?
That depends on the width of the frame:
50 cm – 6 hours
85 cm – 8 hours
100 cm – 8 hours
Assemble and Disassemble
How do I set up the frame?
It is click and slide, so no tools or force needed. Here you can find the instruction movie.
Should I use force with the (de)installation of the frame?
No, everything goes with a click or sometimes a little bit of strength, but definitely no force is needed.
How do I get the feet out of the frame?
If it is a Standard Foot or a Half Foot press the white lever at the inside of the frame
and pull the foot out.
If it is a Mini Foot just pull hard.
How can I take the Inside, Outside or HighLow Connector of the frame?
Pull/push on the side of the connector.

How do I submit artwork files?
Always mention your webshop order number, when you are sending the print files.

Are there any requirements for the artwork?

What type of artwork files do you accept?
We prefer print-ready files to be submitted in PDF or TIFF format.
Though we can also accept the following file formats.
• InDesign (.indd)
• Illustrator (.ai)
• Photoshop (.psd)
• Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)

Can you print a PMS color?
Yes, we can, please state it in the order notes. Be aware that it can appear lighter
when illuminated.
Which CMYK settings do I need to use when I want rich black?
85/85/80/100
Wat would be the best resolution of the images?
The actual resolution of the images should be 100-150 ppi.
Otherwise, you might get a poor-quality print.
How do I know if my text is readable?
For the text to be clear the stem of the characters should be at least 1 mm.
Under that value there is no guarantee that the text will be readable.
Should I add any marks on the artwork?
There should be no crops or extra markings on the print files. The folding, cutting
or register marks in layout programs must not be activated within the data format.
How thin can my line be?
For the line to be clear it should be at least 1 mm.
What is bleed?
The bleed is the area outside the banner that is sewn to the rubber lip after printing.
To avoid white flashes, the elements from the visible part of the banner (whether photo
or graphic design) should be continued on the bleed area.
How mucht bleed is necessary?
A bleed of 10 mm is required on each side, so for example with a frame size of 1000 x 2000 mm, the print data size is 1020 x 2020 mm. The graphics must be continued on the bleed side.

What are the dimensions of the Mobile Light Box Boxes?
The Mobile Light Boxes come in two box sizes 123 x 35 x 20 cm and 146 x 35 x 20 cm. But there are always exceptions.
Than there are all different kind of sizes for the banners, accessories and spare parts.
You can find the delivery note in your account.
How is my order packaged?
We normally have loose boxes; you can find the delivery note in your account. If you make the request, we can pack it on a pallet. Please email us at info@mobilelightbox.eu
Can you promise me the exact delivery date and time?
We will always do our best to help you meet your deadline. Due to our dependency on our carriers, given delivery dates can be subject to change. You are always free to pick up your order from our warehouse. Have a look at the pick-up times.
Sometimes it is possible to order a designated courier, they are more expensive. Contact us via info@mobilelightbox.eu to see if it is possible.
Can you ship the order directly to my customer or event?
Yes, we can. Please add the correct delivery address while placing the order.
Can you ship to different addresses?
We can, but please place an order per address, so that we can do it correctly.
Can I supply my own delivery note?
Yes, you can. Please add the remark to the order notes and send it to us via info@mobilelightbox.eu.
What is the estimated transit time?
This is working days exempt from local holidays.

What is the turnaround time for frames?
If you see the hardware on the webshop, you can pick it up, after paying, the same day.

What is the turnaround time for high volume order of banners?
If you would like more than 50 banners, please contact us for an estimated time of delivery.

Can I also collect my shipment?
Yes, you can, please choose Free Local Pick up in your order. Our warehouse is located on the Flevodwarsweg 13, 2318 BW Leiden, The Netherlands. Have a look at our pick-up times.
What are your pick-up times?
We should be in the office and warehouse on working days from 9:00 to 17:00. It might be different when we are on a show. So please always contact us via phone +31 6 20 72 72 56 or e-mail info@mobilelightbox.eu to make sure we are in our beautiful city Leiden.
When will I receive my order?

Is the shipping included in the price?
On the Check Out page you have the option to pick up your order for free (of course this can also mean that you will arrange for pick up yourself) or have us ship it for you. Depending on your shipping location, you can either see the shipping price or you can request a shipping quote from us. So the short answer should have been, no.

What should I do when I want to return something?

Certificates
Have the electricity parts been tested?
All light boxes are 24 volt, no certificate needed. All power supplies are CE and UL approved.
Can you supply a fire-retardant certificate for the banner?
Can you supply an MTC?
Yes, here you can find the MTC of the Mobile Light Box. The Mill Test Certificate (MTC), also known as a material test report, is a document that verifies the chemical and physical properties of a material.

How do I install the Door Kit?
How do I make a bridge / arc with the same width frames?
You need three Mobile Light Boxes, four Bridge Connectors and an Extension Cable 5m. Here you can find the instruction movie.
is it possible to connect a bridge / arc with a 300 to 600 cm wide standing frame?
You need two Mobile Light Boxes, two Halfway Bridge Connectors and two Bridge Connectors and of course an Extension Cable 5m. Here you can find the instruction movie.
How can I make a 90-degree corner with 2 frames?
To make an inside corner, you need Four Mini feet and three Inside Connectors 90 degree. Here you can find the instruction movie.
To make an outside corner, you need four Mini Feet and three Outside Connectors 90 Degree. Here you can find the instruction movie.
Instead of the Standard Feet you use the Mini Feet to make the corner stand freely.
Can a shelf kit or monitor bracket kit be added to our frame that is already in use?
Yes, of course! You do need to make cuts in your banner, so reusing the banner without the shelf or monitor bracket is not a great idea. But no worries within 6 working days we can have your new banner ready for your next event.
How can I mount my television screen on the frame?
You need a Monitor Bracket Kit. They are available for an 85 cm width or a 100 cm width frames. Here you can find the instruction movie. The tv screen is not something we have in our regular stock, if you need us to arrange it for you of course we can. Yes, you do need to make five cuts in the fabric, no worries if you do it in a careful way you will be able to use the banner many times.
How do I mount my shelf on my frame?
You need a Shelf Kit. Here you can find the instruction movie. Yes, you do need to make two cuts in the fabric, no worries if you do it in a careful way you will be able to use the banner many times. In this movie the last step is a Hanging Pole Small, that is a separate item not part of the Shelf Kit.
How can I stack my frames?
You need two frames of the same width, two Stacking Connectors and an Extension Cable 5m. Here you can find the instruction movie. So do not use the feet in the top-frame. Also make sure you take a screwdriver and screw of the with small part on the top and bottom of the stackable frames where they will meet. This way the will be right on top of each other.
How can I make a wall out of my frames?
You need two Straight Connectors per two frames to make sure they align. Here you can find the instruction movie. The power cords come out the left and right side of the frame wall. If you want to make a bigger wall it might be helpful to use an Extension Cable 5m.
How can I make sure my tall and short frame stand next to each other?
You need a High Low Connector for the alignment of a tall and a short frame together. Here you can find the instruction movie.

What to do when a part is broken or lost?
Do not worry, we have the most crucial parts in stock. You can find them with the spare parts. If you cannot find your item or you don’t know what you are looking for, please send an e-mail with photo to info@mobilelightbox.eu
The plastic part of the support bar broke, what now?
Here you can find the spare part.
Sometimes the plastic part of the support bar is glued to the rod for more strength. You can order a new support bar set on the spare parts page. Choose and order the correct frame size and we send you a complete new set. You can find the section Spare Parts.
Which Power Supply do I need for my frame?
That depends on the width of the frame:

How can I change the LED Module?

I lost a piece of profile, what now?
Please send us pictures of what you do have and try to explain which part you are missing of what size frame. info@mobilelightbox.eu We will give you a price depending on what part is missing.
I lost a piece of support bar, what now?
You can order a new support bar set on the spare parts page. Choose and order the correct frame size and we send you a complete new set. Unfortunately we cannot sell one part of the support bar.
Banners
How do I install the banner?
Insert the silicone edge into the frame groove, starting from the four corners.
Then pull the banner’s edge and insert the remaining sides.
Gradually insert the silicon edging into the grooves all the way around the frame.
Ensure that the banner is properly aligned and centered within the frame.
Adjust the tension by gently pulling on the banner and repositioning the silicone edging if needed.
What do I get when I order a banner?
You will get one banner, unless you order more. If you need something specific like two the same prints or a blockout banner (white or black), please mention this in the order notes and with the artwork.
What should I do if want my artwork across multiple frames?
Always tell us in the order notes! Send a total image, without cuts. Make sure the bleed continues where the images meet each other. Send us the artwork files for the correct frame sizes.
How long is the production time for a banner?
After payment and correct artwork, we can send out your banner, or you can pick it up. It will take about 6 to 7 workdays.
What should I do if I have wrinkles in my banner?

What is the best way to store banners?
To ensure the quality of your banners, we recommend folding loosely and facing inward. Ideally packed back in the same bag that they were delivered in. If possible do not stack folded banners on top of each other, this will help prevent creases or ink transfers.
Do I need two banners if my frame is against the wall?
Yes, you always need two banners. The light will be distributed evenly for the highest quality.
Can I use a wet towel to get rid of a stain in my banner?
No, it will only get worse.
What should I do if my banner is stained or dirty?
The banners can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius without additives. However, this will solve the fire retardant B1 coating and affect the banner’s elasticity and also affect the colors lightly.
Is the banner fire retardant?
Yes, the banners have the fire retardant B1 coating. Our supplier gave us this data sheet about the fabric with the B1 certificate.
I have a different lightbox system; can I order banners with you?
Yes, we can print for every frame system.
The banners on this webshop are with 10 mm keder.
For the Matrix Frame banners we use 14 mm keder or if you need a different size keder, please send an email to info@matrixframe.nl and we will answer your questions.
Why is my banner shorter than my frame?
We use a high elasticity fabric that requires some stretching and pulling. Always start with the four corners to put the banner in the frame. Then a little bit of the middle, then the middle of the middle and so forth.

How can I change my order?

How can I track my order?
You can find the status of your order on the webshop in your account after loggin in. When we send your order with our delivery service we will put the tracking code on the invoice.
Where can I find my invoice?
The webshop automatically send the invoice to the e-mail address you put in your account. Also, you can log in to your account and find your invoices there.
Why are there taxes on my invoice for goods to the EU?
We have to charge 21% VAT because of EU laws. Please read article below for further explication. Export from the Netherlands to other EU countries: intra-Community supply (belastingdienst.nl)
What payment options are available?
We require an advanced payment. The webshop will give you all different kinds like Credit Card, Ideal, Paypal and many more. If you are not sure about something in your order, please choose Direct Bank Transfer, this way your order is reserved for you. You can than choose to pay by transfering via your own bank or in your account you can find all other payment methods again.
Can you put my own reference or PO number on the invoice?

Mobile Light Box is a Matrix Frame brand. Our company is called Matrix Frame and we sell Mobile Light Box.
Why do I have to pay import duties and taxes?
Just to make sure that when we mention any shipping costs, they are exclusive of any import tax and or duties. You are responsible for paying them to allow your goods to get into the country of delivery.
Can you make me a quote?

General Information
Why is it called Mobile Light Box?
It is called Mobile Ligth Box, because it is a light box / frame in a suitcase on wheels, so you can take it everywhere fairly easy. Here you can find the movie.
What is SEG?
In short SEG stands for Silicone Edge Graphics, a type of fabric print with silicone beading sewn around the edge. The silicone edge fits into a groove around the profile of the banner frame. This helps the banner maintain tension across the frame. With the result of a high-end frameless appearance. We use BTS, it stands for Better Than Silicon.
What method of printing do you use?
We print direct sublimation, meaning that we are printing directly onto the fabric using low-energy sublimation inks.
What is Super Backlit?
What is the advantage of a textile frame?
The main advantage of a textile frame is the changeable fabric. You only have to install a frame, and you can constantly change the fabric for a new promotion, different time of year or interior. The frame can also be transported easily and is made of aluminium. Aluminium is recyclable and can be repurposed after use.
Out of stock?

What does Stand Alone mean?
Stand Alone means that the frame cannot be connected to other frames. So it means non modular or not buildable. For example the info frame or battery powered frames. Although it is not completely true, because with a stacking connector you are able to place another regular Mobile Light Box on top.
What is a Booth Kit?
Everything you need for a trade show booth, so an easy way for you to have everything in a few clicks without thinking about it. The package comes with all frames, banners, connectors perfectly packed in the Mobile Light Box wheely bags.
What is the difference between Mobile Light Box and Frame Only?
It is the same frame with LED lights in a wheely bag. Only with a Mobile Light Box there are two banners in the package deal.
